Trip Overview

Bungy jumping is very popular outdoor activities in Nepal. Very few bungee jumping points are available in Nepal. Over the 160m, wild Bhote Kosi River, the first bungee jumping site is situated. We can reach to the location after 3 hours bus ride from Kathmandu Valley. You will travel along the Arniko Highway to reach the bungee jumping spot quite close to the Nepal-Tibet border. There is only one agency to offering this sport until now.  Over the 160m, the bungy jumping had been designed by one of New Zealand’s leading bungee consultants. That was also operated by some of the qualified and experienced jump masters involved in the business.  The agency takes safety and security very carefully & seriously. The location spot is 166m wide steel suspension bridge over the Bhoti Kosi River gorge.  The bridge had been designed by Swiss with the special purpose for bungee jumping with a 4x safety factor. The bridge has been a loading factor of 250kg per running meter (the bridge will hold 250 x 166 = 41,500kg or 4.5 tones). Over 6000 meters of height, the steel wire is used to build the longest suspension bridge. The bridge has joined with two sides of a great valley. It is one of Nepal’s wildest rivers raging below so close your eyes and JUMP!
