Trip Overview

Everest region is the second most popular trekking area in Nepal. The region has lured thousand of adventure seekers to explore and experience high mountain valleys, high passes, Buddhist cultures and stunning Sherpa villages and incredible views of the lofty snowy mountain peaks of Mt. Everest (8848 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8153m), Mt. Makalu (8470 m) Mt. Ama Dablam (6856 m) and many others. It is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park with an area of 1148 square kilometers. The park is largely composed of the rugged terrain and gorges of the high Himalayas.

We fly direct from Kathmandu to Lukla in about 45 minutes, and walk for 3–4hrs to reach Phakding, where we rest for the night. Next day we head to Namche and subsequently to Thame. Taking some days for acclimatisation, we head on to Lungden and reach the Gokyo valley via the Renjo La Pass (5360 m). We trek up to Gokyo Ri (5357 m), then cross via the Cho La to Dzongla (4830m) and Lobuche (4910m). After climbing Kala Patthar, we descend to Tengboche (3440m) and Namche. Finally we trek down to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla (2800m) – Phakding (2610m).
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day 05: Acclimatization day and explore the village.
Day 06: Namche – Thame (3800m).
Day 07: Thame – Marulung (4210m).
Day 08: Marlung – Renjo Lake (4860m).
Day 09: Renjo Lake – Gokyo Lake (4791m).
Day 10: Gokyo lake – Gokyo Peak (5360m) -Thangnak (4678m).
Day 11: Thangna – Cho- La Pass – Dzongla (4840m).
Day 12: Dzonghla – Lobuche (4930m).
Day 13: Lobuche – Everest Base Camp (5364m)- Gorakshep (4910m).
Day 14: Gorak Shep – Kalapathar (5545m) -Lobuche (4910m).
Day 15: Lobuche – Kongma -La Pass – Chhukung (4730m).
Day 16: Chhukung – Pangboche (3930m)
Day 17: Pangboche – Tengboche (3867m).

Day by Day Itinerary

After arraving at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu, you will be received by our guide or a representative who will take you back to the hotel and overnight stay at there.


After taking your breakfast, you would have driven for sightseeing in Kathmandu. We will have a remarkable sightseeing tour to the Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. You will have a memorable trip to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple.


Early in the morning at first flight, we will fly to Tenzing Hillary airport Lukla. After that we will begin our trekking to Phakding. We will walk 3-4 hours to reach Phakding and overnight stay at there.


From Phakding, the trails follow alongside with Dudh Koshi River passing through Blue Pine forest, several bridges and villages. We will reach to Monjo (2800m) by crossing Monjo Khola steeply. We will move entirely easy ascent to reach to Jorsale. After that, walk ahead fleeting a waterfall and you will be amazed with the natural view of Rhododendron and Magnolia trees. The footpath is delightful ti reach the Hillary Suspension Bridge. The beautiful sight of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, Kangaru Peak, Kusum Peak welcome us when climbing towards Namche Bazar. We will hike for 4 hours and overnight stay at Namche Bazar.


This day I the rest day to hike above but in day time we will move to Khumjung village (3800m) is one of the delightful villages and biggest settlement of Sherpa. In Khumjung, we can visit to a Monastery. We will adore the Himalayan vista from Syangboche and conversant with lots of plants and animals life of the Everest Region. You will memorize with the miraculous view of Khumbu Mountain (6856m), Thamserku(6608m), immense vistas of Everest. We will be back to the Namche Bazar to overnight stay


After taking the breakfast in lukla, we will move to the lukla airport to fly back to the Kathmandu which takes 30 minutes flight time. The trekking part of the journey ends from Lukla. After arriving in Kathmandu, you will transfer to the hotel where you will stay overnight there.


This is the last day in Nepal, the trips come to end. Our representatives will come to meet you at your hotel to drop off Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for your flight to home. You will reach three hours before for your scheduled flight time.
