Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a gentle stroll around Paro town, soaking in the peaceful surroundings and getting your first taste of Bhutanese culture.
Begin your day with a scenic drive through lush valleys and winding mountain roads toward Punakha. Along the way, explore key attractions in Punakha, Thimphu and Wangdue which is famous for their majestic dzongs (fortresses), sacred monasteries and serene natural beauty.
Return to Paro and get ready for the highlight of your Bhutan journey.A hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery also known as Tiger’s Nest. This legendary site, perched on a cliffside 900 meters above the valley, offers breathtaking views and a truly spiritual experience. After the hike you can relax and explore Paro at your own pace.
Enjoy a peaceful nature walk in the beautiful Punakha region, surrounded by rivers, forests, and traditional villages. Visit key cultural landmarks before driving back to Thimphu. Spend your evening exploring the capital city’s unique blend of tradition and modernity.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Paro International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with wonderful memories of Bhutan’s landscapes, spiritual charm, and warm hospitality.
