Trip Overview

Chisapani Nagarkot is a short and easy trek to provide the exclusive opportunity to explore the infinite wonders of nature, rural Nepal (typical local life) and the inspiring majesty and beauty of thrilling mountain views. There is a perfect combination of cultural and natural elegance of miraculous snow-capped panoramic mountain views during sunrise and sunset. This trek is suitable for children, Family, students and those who have short time in Nepal. Every travel lover who loves to experience amazing vista of nature, enjoy the great Himalayan views and witness the culture and tradition of local inhabitants and want to explore countryside activities , you can get great experience for interacting with local people. The trip starts with a short drive from Kathmandu to sundarijal which is the popular picnic spot. We continue our move ahead through several stone steps, the bank of rivers, striking waterfalls, river dams and beautiful rhododendron forests.

We will also observe the shivapuri national park then the trail ascend through forest to chisapani, the first day destination. There is a mixed variation of settlement like Brahmins, Gurungs, and Sherpas. Then the next day we continue our trail towards Nagarkot with the beautiful landscape of mountains and hills. If the sky is clear, we will enjoy the eye-catching view of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga. Next day we will awake up too early in the morning to view the sunrise that attracts you very much. Then, you can visit to the world heritage site of Changu Narayan temple and back to Kathmandu.

Day by Day Itinerary

After taking our breakfast early in the morning and we will drive to Sundarijal which is the starting point of our trek and well-known and a busy picnic spot on public holidays with the Lush greenery, sources of water and serene environment. We continue our move ahead through several stone steps, the bank of rivers, striking waterfalls, river dams and beautiful rhododendron forests forest with variety of birds and chances of sighting animals. We will also observe the shivapuri national park then the trail ascend through forest to chisapani, the first day destination. It is a Sherpa village with the grand views of the mountains and in the evening you can watch a picture of sunset from the village and spend the night at teahouse.


We take our breakfast early in the morning and prepare ourselves for trek from Chisopani to Nagarkot. Today is a relatively ambitious day which requires walking approximately 7 hours.The trail crosses through refreshing rhododendron forests inside Shivapuri National Park which makes you feeling fresh. We can take a short rest in Jhule and have lunch. We continue our trail to the scenic hilltop of Nagarkot which is the beautiful landscape of mountains and hills. If the sky is clear, we will enjoy the eye-catching view of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga. In the evening, we see the attractive sunset views and enjoy it. Overnight in Nagarkot.


After breakfast, we will start our trek with sharp penetrate to Tilkot that is a relatively easy trek. Early in the morning, we are captivating sunrise view and scenic view of mountains. Then we will start our treks to Changunaraya that takes approximately 3/4 hours. We will visit historical changunarayan temple then short drive to kathmandu. In the evening you have a short visit to Tourist area Thamel and dinner at typical Nepali restaurant. Overnight at Kathmandu.


After taking your breakfast, you would have driven for sightseeing in Kathmandu. We will have a remarkable sightseeing tour to the Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. You will have a memorable trip to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple.


You will take you to the Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu by our representative or tour guide for your trip back to home. We will always welcome you to visit us again for other adventures.
